Our Story

Part n Parcel began with a shipping problem.

Founder Paul Kalra was shipping welcome packages across Canada through his first business, Hospital Connection — but rising shipping costs were killing margins.

After selling the company, other founders started asking for help. The problem was clear: most Canadian e-commerce brands lacked the volume, leverage, or time to negotiate fair shipping rates. Complex carrier agreements only made things worse.

The solution wasn’t just volume — it was alignment. By leveraging prior commercial agreements, assembling a network of high-performing businesses, standardizing shipping practices, and committing to long-term carrier partnerships, a smarter model emerged.

The final piece came when Julie Dumencu brought her expertise in cross-border logistics and fulfillment optimization. Together, Paul and Julie designed a full-stack shipping solution: direct carrier accounts, automation, training, and strategic support — purpose-built for Canadian e-commerce.
